Atomic Energy Cancer Hospital (AECH-NORI), Islamabad, a premier tertiary care and teaching hospital fully equipped for advanced cancer treatment, has officially announced admissions for its prestigious Four-Year Residency Program (FCPS-II) for the year 2026.
Recognized by the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CP&SP), this training program offers elective rotations at partner hospitals to ensure a comprehensive, high-quality clinical education.
Offered Training Disciplines
Applications are invited for specializations in the following medical departments:
- Radiation Oncology
- Nuclear Medicine
- Diagnostic Radiology
- Haematology
- Histopathology
Eligibility Criteria
Prospective candidates must fulfill the following stringent educational and professional requirements:
- Basic Qualification: MBBS degree, with all professional examinations passed in the First Division.
- House Job: Completion of a mandatory one-year house job.
- Postgraduate Certification:
- For Radiation Oncology, Nuclear Medicine & Radiology: Must have passed FCPS Part-I in Diagnostic Radiology, Surgery & Allied, or Medicine & Allied.
- For Haematology & Histopathology: Must have passed FCPS Part-I in Pathology.
- Departmental Candidates: Applicants already working in government or semi-government sectors must apply through the proper channel along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Core Competencies: Strong computer literacy and excellent communication skills are essential.
Stipend & Key Policies
Financial Package: Selected residents will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 104,390/- as per the existing policy of the institute.
Application Restriction: Applicants are strictly allowed to apply for only ONE specialty.
