SIUT is a premier 1500-bedded tertiary healthcare institution in Pakistan, globally recognized for providing free-of-cost, specialized treatment for renal, liver, and related diseases. Applications are currently invited from eligible medical graduates for the FCPS, MCPS, and IMM programs across various specialties. Below is a comprehensive breakdown of the available programs, eligibility criteria, and the application procedure.
Available Programs and Eligibility Criteria
1. FCPS-II Training Program
Category A: Urology & Nephrology
- Specialties Available: * Urology (for Karachi & Sukkur campuses)
- Nephrology
- Eligibility: Candidates must have cleared FCPS Part-I and completed two years of training in the relevant specialty as per the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) requirements.
- Note: Trainees who have successfully cleared the IMM (Intermediate Module) examination will be given preference.
Category B: Diverse Specialties
- Specialties Available:
- Anaesthesiology
- Chemical Pathology
- Diagnostic Radiology
- General Medicine
- General Surgery
- Haematology
- Histopathology
- Immunology
- Microbiology
- Radiation Oncology
- Eligibility: Candidates must have cleared FCPS Part-I in the relevant specialty in accordance with CPSP requirements.
2. IMM Training Program (for FCPS-II First Two Years)
- Specialties Available:
- General Medicine
- General Surgery
- Eligibility: Clearance of FCPS Part-I in the relevant specialty as per CPSP requirements.
3. MCPS Training Program
- Specialties Available:
- Anaesthesiology
- Eligibility: MBBS degree coupled with a one-year house job from a Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) recognized institution.

Selection Process:
- Entry Test: Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be required to appear for an entry test.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an in-person interview.
- Notifications: The interview date will be communicated to the applicants via email and will also be uploaded to the official admissions website exactly one week prior to the scheduled interview.
